ThermMAT is a heating mat with a twin-wire heating element that is pre-mounted onto a self-adhesive, commercial grade fibreglass mesh. This holds the heating cable in place, maintains optimum spacing between rows of cable and makes the installation process both quick and simple.

Capable of being used by both DIY enthusiasts and specialist contractors, the mat is available in two standard power outputs: 120w/m2 for maximum economy and 160w/m2 for concrete floors and rooms requiring faster heat-up times. It is available in a wide range of standard roll sizes with the supply lead wire at one end only, and the heating element can be easily detached from the mesh to assist installation around awkward shapes.

Featuring a heating element with three layers of electrical insulation and earth braid, ThermMAT complies with the exacting demands of European and International Class 2 safety standards.

 Every delivery comes with a 16 page installation guide that provides full instructions about sizing and cutting the mat to suit your floor. Each pack of TherMAT is also supplied with a 4m length of factory-fitted cold lead wire and a guarantee card.

ThermCABLE is the same triple-insulated, twin-wire element that is incorporated into our mats, but here, it is sold on a reel for projects that involve especially complex room configurations. Although it requires more time to lay when compared with ThermMAT, it is ideal for use in smaller rooms and whenever there are several obstacles to contend with.

The dual wire construction ensures electro-magnetic emissions are virtually eliminated and means that there is no need to route both ends of the cable back to a single connection point.

ThermCABLE can be installed to match power outputs in the range 100 to 200 w/m² and, like the ThermMAT, it is intended for use with ThermCONTROL digital programmable thermostats.

ThermCABLE is sold in standard lengths of between 18m and 84m. Each pack includes a 4m length of factory-fitted cold lead wire, guarantee card, cable fixing tape and full installation instructions.

ThermFILM is an advanced, carbon based mat that distributes heat very evenly across its surface. This feature, combined with its very low profile (less than 0.5mm), renders it ideal for use under laminate wood flooring.

Typically used in conjunction with a 6mm insulation underlay, ThermFILM needs only to be covered by a thin moisture barrier before the laminate wood floor is laid over it.

Easy to install and economical to run, ThermFILM produces fully controllable heat output and is suitable for localised comfort heating or as a room heating system in its own right. Like other ThermFloor systems, it is a dry system that contains no liquids and requires no screed to be laid, and comes with a 10 year manufacturer’s guarantee. As this product is not earthed it is NOT suitable for installations in wet rooms.

ThermFILM is sold in standard widths of 30mm, 50mm and 1000mm, and in lengths of 2m to 8m at 50cm increments. Each pack includes a 5m length of factory fitted cold lead wire and full installation instructions.

ThermCONTROL is a digital programmable thermostat that works in conjunction with all our ThermFloor systems and enables you to set different temperatures or ‘comfort levels’ at different times of the day. This means that your chosen system can be configured to match your needs precisely – giving you the warmth you need whenever you want it but always ensuring that you don’t waste energy or money on heating an empty room.

The ThermCONTROL range enables up to four temperature changes over a 5 day/2 day programme (weekday/weekend programming) and incorporates a ten year memory of programmed settings. Its room set range is between 5°C and 35°C and its floor limit range is between 20°C and 45°C. It may also be used to provide effective frost protection.

ThermCONTROL comes in a choice of models, offering either floor temperature sensing only or combined floor / air temperature sensing, which is especially useful for regulating temperatures in conservatories and garden rooms.

CE approved and operated using simple push-button controls, ThermCONTROL features a stylish design and a large, clear back-light display. It is suitable for flush mounting and is available in white, silver or brass.

The ThermCONTROL is 16 amp rated, therefore switching a load of 3.6kw. However, it is not IP rated and so it is not recommended for installation within any wet rooms.

Manufactured by the market leader, Marmox, ThermBOARD backer boards are advanced insulation panels that are specially designed to work with your underfloor heating system. Used over uninsulated concrete or wooden subfloors, they help to prevent heat being lost to conduction, so as much energy as possible goes into heating your home.

ThermBOARD will not only help to reduce your day to day energy costs, it will also reduce warm-up times, thereby adding to the sense of luxury that ThermFloor underfloor heating brings.

Our standard ThermBOARD is 10mm thick and individual boards measure 1250mm x 600mm. However it does come in a variety of thicknesses from 6mm to 50mm. Please contact our office for the costs and availability of other thicknesses.
