Do you have a sloped driveway or ramp that often freezes?

Heated driveway technology from First Trace, may be the answer.

Having a sloped driveway or ramp can often be hazardous when the weather turns colder, and it freezes or snows, whether you are driving a vehicle or as a pedestrian. That’s why driveway and ramp heating systems are becoming increasingly popular and provide businesses and home owners with added safety protection and convenience.

At First Trace we have been supplying heating cables both commercially and domestically for over 20 years and our First Trace driveway and ramp heating cables are specifically designed for the prevention of ice and snow build-up.

The driveway and ramp heating cables can be used when laying either concrete or asphalt driveways or ramps and we offer different cables to suit each surface. Our technical support team can offer guidance and a free full design service, should you require additional support.

To minimise running and installation costs, we recommend laying two, half meter tyre tracks of cable down the driveway and using our dedicated ice and snow prevention thermostats, to provide a fully automated system. The First Trace thermostats are fully programmable and deliver reliable, cost efficient control of your heated driveway or ramp; only activating and supplying heat to the cables and driveway / ramp, when the temperature falls below a predetermined figure and the sensor detects moisture, therefore ensuring that they only operate when required.
