W55 and W65 range of parallel circuit self regulating heating cables is the perfect solution for hot water temperature maintenance of pipes installed in offices, hotels, sports centres, domestic dwellings etc. Our range of heaters provide instant hot water from every tap or shower unit when installed on a non-circulating installation.
Heaters regulate their power output to compensate for the variation in water and ambient air temperatures.
Our heaters eliminate the need for designing complex re-circulating systems with pumps, valves and return pipes, thereby providing low installation costs.
The temperature in the pipes are maintained by varying the thickness of the thermal insulation in line with the pipe diameters. Insulation thicknesses are based on those commercially available in order to maintain the minimum temperatures stated in an ambient of 18°C.For exact temperature control a temperature control device may be required. If in doubt please consult First Trace Heating
Recommended Insulation Schedule, based on thermal conductivity of 0.035 at 35°C
