Pairing the SnugStat Wi-Fi Thermostat & SnugStat Duo Thermostat with the SnugStat App

We're always looking for ways to improve our products to make them as user friendly as possible. With this in mind we've increased the ways that you can pair your SnugStat Wi-Fi Thermostat & SnugStat Duo Wi-Fi Thermostat to the SnugStat App.

Simply follow the instructions below for your chosen method of pairing:

Firstly, download the free SnugStat App from the Apple Store or the Google Play Store by searching Snugstat.

1. Open the SnugStat App and register your account.

2. Login to your account.

3. Press theicon.

4. Select your preferred pairing mode from the list below:

Smart Configuration

1. On the SnugStat App, select 'Smart Config' and then 'Add Device Location'.

2. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi Password, press next.

3. A countdown will then begin.

4. On your thermostat, press the icon.

5. Go to page 2 on the thermostat and select 'Pairing to App (Smart Config)' - this may take a few moments to pair.

6. On the App, select 'Heating Thermostat', then 'Add Device Location'.

7. Then select a pre-written room name or create your own.

8. Your thermostat is now connected  - it may display 'fault' for a few seconds before connection is fully established.

9. The App will display 'Is Connected to the Wi-Fi' and the thermostat will read 'App Matching Successful'.

Scan QR Code

1. On the SnugStat App, select 'Scan QR Code' and the 'Add Device Location'.

2. Allow the SnugStat App camera access.

3. On the thermostat, press the icon.

4. Go to page 5 on the thermostat and select 'System Information'.

5. Align the QR code on the thermostat screen inside the square on the app - align correctly until it connects.

6. Select 'Heating Thermostat', then 'Add Device Location'.

7. Then select a pre-written room name or create your own.

8. Your thermostat is now connected - it may display 'fault' for a few seconds before connection is fully established.

9. The App will display 'Is Connected to the Wi-Fi' and the thermostat will read 'App Matching Successful'.

Manual Entry

1. On the SnugStat App, select 'Manual Entry' - a box should appear for you to enter your thermostat's MAC address.

2. To find this, open your thermostat and press the icon.

3. Go to page 3 and select 'Network Setting'.

4. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password, then select 'Join'.

5. Press and hold your connected Wi-Fi network, this will appear at the top of the list.

6. Your MAC address is on this screen, enter the number into the 'MAC Address' box on the SnugStat App. NOTE: Do not enter the colons - enter just the numerical digits with no spaces.

7. Select 'Add Device Location'.

8. Then select a pre-written room name or create your own.

9. Your thermostat is now connected - it may display 'fault' for a few seconds before connection is fully established.

10. The App will display 'Is Connected to the Wi-Fi' and the thermostat will read 'App Matching Successful'.
