An easy guide to setting the holiday mode for the SnugStat Wi-Fi Thermostat

The SnugStat Wi-Fi Thermostat has a helpful holiday mode that can be pre-set ahead of time, either on the go via the dedicated SnugStat smart phone app or via the SnugStat LCD display screen.  

If you have multiple SnugStats around your home, setting the holiday mode with the SnugStat app, will programme all your SnugStats at once, saving you precious time in the run up to your holiday.

The holiday mode feature will maintain the defrost pre-set temperature for the duration of the holiday and will then automatically return to the programmed mode on the day you return, so you can rest assured knowing that you’ll return to a warm home.

Here’s a helpful step by step guide to activating this feature…

Setting the holiday mode via the SnugStat App:

1. On your Smartphone select the snugstat app. (Please note, the app must be paired with the SnugStat thermostat prior to setting the holiday mode. To find out how to pair, please refer to the SnugStat Thermostat instruction manual or call our technical support team on 01772 761333).

2. Once the app has opened, select the navigation menu icon in the top right hand corner.

3. Press ‘Holiday setup’.

4. In the holiday Setup page, select the ‘Set Holiday’ OFF/ON icon.

5. Scroll through the date tool, to the date that you want your holiday mode to start.

6. Scroll through the date tool, to the date that you want your holiday mode to end.

7. Press save and return to the SnugStat app home screen.

Setting the holiday mode via the SnugStat Thermostat LCD screen:

1. Press the ‘Holiday’ icon on the main LCD screen.

2. Select the ‘Holiday’ OFF/ON icon.

3. Press the column of Day/Month/Year, use the arrow icons to set the Day/Month/Year values under Holiday Start.

4. Press the column of Day/Month/Year, use the arrow icons to set the Day/Month/Year values under Holiday End.

5. Press the return arrow icon to save and return to the main screen or press ‘Cancel’ to delete the setting.

6. The screen will show ‘Holiday will start at **/**’ once your holiday has been set (see image below).
